As I started fleshing out the world I needed to create a bit of a past but I didn’t just want to throw something as serious as war in there without justification. It plays a large role in the next story and some of the new characters. I’ve also toyed with bringing mechs into Deep Dive Five and I think there is room for them in non-military functions.
